Biography

Aliza Licht is a fashion industry veteran and the author of the best-selling book, LEAVE YOUR MARK. In November 2016, Licht joined alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet as their EVP of Brand Marketing & Communications, a new position for the company. Licht was formerly the long-time SVP of Global Communications for Donna Karan International (1998-2016), responsible for overseeing the worldwide strategy.

Most known for her work as the former voice of DKNY PR GIRL®, an award winning Twitter personality that she created, Licht has been widely credited as a social media pioneer in the fashion industry, building a dynamic and multi-platform social media community of over 1.5 million followers for DKNY from 2009-2016.  Her ability to speak to a new audience with a digital mindset captivated customers and followers worldwide. The person behind DKNY PR GIRL’s true identity was kept anonymous for two years until October 2011 when Licht revealed herself. Her story was chronicled by The New York Times in, “PR Girl Revealed as PR Executive.”

LEAVE YOUR MARK is a virtual mentorship that teaches career success through building one’s personal brand. LEAVE YOUR MARK has sold over 40,000 copies since May 2015 and has been translated into Spanish and Chinese editions. The paperback edition with new material will debut in May 2018.
